Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Luis Feito was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,610.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Feito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work N. 175 B in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 108,000.00 (€ 160,106.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Luis Feito im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.610,67) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Feito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit N. 175 B im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.000,00 (€ 160.106,12).
