The work Mountain Trail (Painted In 1976) by Luis Chan was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 13,897.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Luis Chan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marine Wonderland(Painted in 1978) in October last year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 64,585.46).

Die Arbeit Mountain Trail (Painted In 1976) von Luis Chan wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 13.897,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Chan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marine Wonderland(Painted in 1978) im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 64.585,46).
