Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work El Descanso by Luis Armando Zesatti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 28,000.00 – 32,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 28,125.00 (€ 19,563.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Luis Armando Zesatti have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Jardines De La Reina was auctioned for USD 46,875.00 (€ 37,912.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit El Descanso von Luis Armando Zesatti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 28.000,00 – 32.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 19.563,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Luis Armando Zesatti konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Jardines De La Reina für USD 46.875,00 (€ 37.912,49) versteigert.
