This artwork by Luigi Sabatelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2011. In the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Time overcoming an allegorical figure, perhaps Ignorance, with a subsidiary study of a head in profile sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,796.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Sabatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 66,950.79).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 66.950,79).
