It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,730.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Luigi Sabatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 66,950.79).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.730,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Sabatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 66.950,79).
