Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luigi Sabatelli could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Five Scenes From The Book Of Revelation: 'Et Vidi Mulierem Sedentem...' (17:3); 'Vidi Quod Aperuisset Agnus...' (6:1); 'Et Vidi Alium Angelum Fortem...' (10:1); 'Et Conversus Vidi Septem Candelabra Aurea...' (1;12); Et Vidi, Et Ecce Nubem Candidam...' (1 changed hands for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,925.93) - missing the lower Other works by Luigi Sabatelli have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2017 by the work Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 66,950.79).

(1 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.925,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00.
