The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,480.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Sabatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 66,950.79).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.480,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Sabatelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Armida and the sleeping Rinaldo on a chariot drawn by dragons and escorted by putti im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 66.950,79).
