A top price for Luigi Loir
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 by Luigi Loir. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 224,750.00 (€ 255,948.32), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 is even the most expensive work of art by Luigi Loir that we have observed at auctions so far.
