Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luigi Loir could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Art Part II auction, the work Figures On A Bridge In The Snow changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,219.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Loir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 224,750.00 (€ 255,948.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Loir konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Art Part II wechselte die Arbeit Figures On A Bridge In The Snow für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.219,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Loir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 224.750,00 (€ 255.948,32).
