Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Modena by Luigi Ghirri was sold in the Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,250.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ghirri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atelier Morandi', 1992 in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 51,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Modena von Luigi Ghirri wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ghirri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atelier Morandi', 1992 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.900,00.
