In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work We Control the Future by Lugas Syllabus. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,198.03), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lugas Syllabus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOLDEN LIMOUSINE IN THE HEAVEN OF ART in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 39,603.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit We Control the Future von Lugas Syllabus zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.198,03) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lugas Syllabus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOLDEN LIMOUSINE IN THE HEAVEN OF ART im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 39.603,42).
