Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work On the path by Ludwig Munthe for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,458.51). This price was achieved in the auction Autumn Classic Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ludwig Munthe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvest, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 10,575.00 (€ 16,828.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit On the path von Ludwig Munthe für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.458,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Munthe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvest beobachtet, die im November 2001 für GBP 10.575,00 (€ 16.828,16) versteigert wurde.
