This artwork by Ludwig Munthe achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in October 2013. In the Dekorative Kunst auction, the work Am Strand. sold for EUR 619.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludwig Munthe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 16,828.16).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ludwig Munthe erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dekorative Kunst wurde die Arbeit Am Strand. für EUR 619,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Munthe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.575,00 (€ 16.828,16).
