Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Nubian Guard by Ludwig Deutsch was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 1,035,000.00 (€ 1,200,525.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ludwig Deutsch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tribute in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,298,400.00 (€ 4,985,835.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Nubian Guard von Ludwig Deutsch kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.035.000,00 (€ 1.200.525,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ludwig Deutsch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tribute im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.298.400,00 (€ 4.985.835,73).
