Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work View Of Jerusalem by Ludwig Blum. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,596.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ludwig Blum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of Jerusalem, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 58,966.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of Jerusalem von Ludwig Blum zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.596,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Blum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of Jerusalem beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 58.966,54) versteigert wurde.
