Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Post-Millennium Evening Sale, which included the work Phoenix by Lucy Bull. The price achieved of HKD 10,650,000.00 (€ 1,321,578.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000,000.00 – 15,000,000.00. Other works by Lucy Bull have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June last year the work 8:50 was auctioned for HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phoenix von Lucy Bull zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.650.000,00 (€ 1.321.578,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000.000,00 – 15.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lucy Bull konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni letzten Jahres die Arbeit 8:50 für HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36) versteigert.
