Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work In the boudoir by Lucius Rossi for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,151.84). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucius Rossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Masked Ball, Ca Rezzonico, Venice in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 43,000.00 (€ 29,720.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit In the boudoir von Lucius Rossi für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.151,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucius Rossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Masked Ball, Ca Rezzonico, Venice im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.000,00 (€ 29.720,76).
