Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale, which included this untitled work by Lucio Del Pezzo. The price achieved of GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,337.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lucio Del Pezzo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rosso Veneziano in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lucio Del Pezzo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.337,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucio Del Pezzo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rosso Veneziano im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
