This artwork by Lucio Del Pezzo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2015. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Rosso Veneziano sold for EUR 68,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00. This high result makes Rosso Veneziano the most expensive artwork by Lucio Del Pezzo that we have observed at auctions so far.
