Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Re Mida 1° by Lucio Del Pezzo was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2017. The price achieved of EUR 21,180.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 24,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Del Pezzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rosso Veneziano, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Re Mida 1° von Lucio Del Pezzo wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 21.180,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Del Pezzo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rosso Veneziano beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
