Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2020 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included the work Ebdomero by Lucio Del Pezzo. The auction ended at the price of EUR 20,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Del Pezzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rosso Veneziano, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 68,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ebdomero von Lucio Del Pezzo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 20.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Del Pezzo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rosso Veneziano beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
