Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ebdomero by Lucio Del Pezzo was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Del Pezzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rosso Veneziano, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ebdomero von Lucio Del Pezzo kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 18.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Del Pezzo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rosso Veneziano beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
