This artwork by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2020. In the The Orientalist Sale auction, the work Rabat sold for GBP 112,500.00 (€ 129,413.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Montagneux in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,956,000.00 (€ 1,637,094.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Orientalist Sale wurde die Arbeit Rabat für GBP 112.500,00 (€ 129.413,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Montagneux im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.956.000,00 (€ 1.637.094,07).
