Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les remparts de Marrakech - Circa 1920 by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer was sold in the Majorelle and his Contemporaries auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2019. The price achieved of MAD 19,500.00 (€ 1,858.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 16,500.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Montagneux in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,956,000.00 (€ 1,637,094.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les remparts de Marrakech - Circa 1920 von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Majorelle and his Contemporaries bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 19.500,00 (€ 1.858,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 16.500,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Montagneux im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.956.000,00 (€ 1.637.094,07).
