Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Au bord du canal by Lucien Adrion was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Adrion achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deauville, Les Planches in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Au bord du canal von Lucien Adrion kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.859,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Adrion erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deauville, Les Planches im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
