Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work The Four Seasons by Lucas van Uden. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 50,152.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas van Uden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,600.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Four Seasons von Lucas van Uden zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 50.152,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas van Uden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 106.250,00 (€ 124.600,16) versteigert wurde.
