The work A panoramic river landscape with pollard willows by Lucas van Uden was sold in the The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection. Part I auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 86,500.00 (€ 109,103.70), 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lucas van Uden; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers sold at auction in July 2021 with the realized price of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,600.16).
