Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Siesta by Luca Postiglione for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,167.31). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Postiglione - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ragazza in profilo, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,177.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Siesta von Luca Postiglione für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.167,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luca Postiglione mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ragazza in profilo beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.177,16) versteigert wurde.
