Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Christ Blessing by Luca di Tommè was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 112,500.00 (€ 103,858.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca di Tommè achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work San Bernardo Degli Uberti; Spandrels: The Prophets Hosea And Jeremiah in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,063,497.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Christ Blessing von Luca di Tommè kam im Januar 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 103.858,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca di Tommè erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit San Bernardo Degli Uberti; Spandrels: The Prophets Hosea And Jeremiah im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.063.497,81).
