Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three nude figures locked in a struggle by Luca Cambiaso was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,999.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Cambiaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'Sacra Conversazione': The Madonna And Child With Saints Paul And Augustine, A Putto Reading At Their Feet in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,027,779.74).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.999,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Cambiaso erzielen.
