This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Cambiaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'Sacra Conversazione': The Madonna And Child With Saints Paul And Augustine, A Putto Reading At Their Feet in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,027,779.74).
