Commentaire : Nous pouvons rapprocher notre dessin de la figure d'Athéna en haut à droite de 'Psiche trasportata davanti al concilio degli dei', fresque du Palazzo già Grillo à Gênes (voir B. Suida Manning - W. Suida, 'Luca Cambiaso la vita e le opere', Milan, 1958, p. 85, n°26, tav. XVII).

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Athéna by Luca Cambiaso was auctioned at Artcurial in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Cambiaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'Sacra Conversazione': The Madonna And Child With Saints Paul And Augustine, A Putto Reading At Their Feet in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,027,779.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Athéna von Luca Cambiaso kam im März 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Cambiaso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A 'Sacra Conversazione': The Madonna And Child With Saints Paul And Augustine, A Putto Reading At Their Feet im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 692.000,00 (€ 1.027.779,74).
