Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Portrait De L'Actrice Claire Prémore by Luc Lafnet was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 632.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luc Lafnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Exposition Humoristique" ; Projet D'Affiche in February 2013 with an auction result of EUR 9,094.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Portrait De L'Actrice Claire Prémore von Luc Lafnet im Februar 2013 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 632,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luc Lafnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Exposition Humoristique" ; Projet D'Affiche im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.094,00.
