The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,011.00 69% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Luc Lafnet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Exposition Humoristique" ; Projet D'Affiche in February 2013 with an auction result of EUR 9,094.00.

Die Arbeit "Jeunesse", 1920 von Luc Lafnet wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.011,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luc Lafnet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Exposition Humoristique" ; Projet D'Affiche im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.094,00.
