A top price for Lubaina Himid - as previously expected
This work without title by Lubaina Himid was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,298.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Lubaina Himid that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lubaina Himid kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.298,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lubaina Himid, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
