A top price for Lu Zhi - as previously expected
The work The South Marsh by Lu Zhi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 625,442.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000,000.00 – 7,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The South Marsh is the most expensive artwork by Lu Zhi that we have observed at auctions so far.
