Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cloudy Mountains by Lu Zhi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 4,980.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Zhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The South Marsh in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 625,442.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains von Lu Zhi kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 4.980,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Zhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The South Marsh im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.625.000,00 (€ 625.442,99).
