Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pheasants by Lu Zhi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 41,479.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Zhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The South Marsh in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 625,442.99).
