A top price for Lu Jian - as previously expected
The work Willow and Egret by Lu Jian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 34,991.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 360,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Willow and Egret is the most expensive artwork by Lu Jian that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Willow and Egret von Lu Jian kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 34.991,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 360.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Willow and Egret das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lu Jian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
