Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egrets and Pine by Lu Jian was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,187.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Lu Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Willow and Egret was auctioned for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 34,991.17).
