Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lu Huancheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscapes of The Four Seasons sold for HKD 720,000.00 (€ 78,778.63) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Huancheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring In The Han Palace in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 503,307.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Huancheng erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscapes of The Four Seasons für HKD 720.000,00 (€ 78.778,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Huancheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring In The Han Palace im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 503.307,89).
