Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Saalborn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elegant lady in the city at night, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 3,290.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Saalborn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elegant lady in the city at night beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 3.290,00 versteigert wurde.
