Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A young woman, seated on a chair and looking up to the right by Louis-Roland Trinquesse. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,880.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Roland Trinquesse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An interior with two ladies and a gentleman in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 968,000.00 (€ 757,848.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A young woman, seated on a chair and looking up to the right von Louis-Roland Trinquesse zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.880,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis-Roland Trinquesse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An interior with two ladies and a gentleman im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 968.000,00 (€ 757.848,59).
