In December 2012 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Henri-Georges et Inès Clouzot - Vente au profit du Secours Catholique, which included the work Les pinces à linge by Louis Pons. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 250.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Pons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Du Var - 1964-65 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 2,990.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Henri-Georges et Inès Clouzot - Vente au profit du Secours Catholique durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les pinces à linge von Louis Pons zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 250,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Pons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Du Var - 1964-65 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.990,00.
