Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre (Oiseau) by Louis Pons. It changed hands for a price of EUR 893.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Pons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysage Du Var - 1964-65, which sold at auction in October 2017 for EUR 2,990.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre (Oiseau) von Louis Pons zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 893,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Pons mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paysage Du Var - 1964-65 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für EUR 2.990,00 versteigert wurde.
