Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work Composition by Louis Armand Nallard was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2007, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 300.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 991.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Armand Nallard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Joueur De Tarots, 1974 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 6,120.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Composition von Louis Armand Nallard im Juni 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 300,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 991,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Armand Nallard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Joueur De Tarots, 1974 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.120,00.
