Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Two children carrying a small Christmas Tree by Louis Moe was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 2,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,100.00 (€ 147.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Moe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Til Valhalla” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,608.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Two children carrying a small Christmas Tree von Louis Moe im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.100,00 (€ 147,39) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Moe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Til Valhalla” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.608,84).
