A top price for Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work La place by Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44). With this result, La place is even the most expensive work of art by Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La place von Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.011,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist La place sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
