However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Marie Sicardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A girl called Mademoiselle Victorine de Chastenay-Lanty, full face in white dress with laced green bodice and fichu, posy of forget-me-nots pinned at corsage, forget-me-nots, blue ribbon and large straw hat in her long powdered curled hair dressed à, which sold at auction in April 2002 for GBP 15,275.00 (€ 24,714.5
