Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Musicienne Au Tambourin by Louis Hottot was auctioned at Artcurial in Marrakech in May last year. The price achieved of MAD 12,464.00 (€ 1,242.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Hottot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ottomans, Couple in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 23,167.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Musicienne Au Tambourin von Louis Hottot kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Marrakesch zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 12.464,00 (€ 1.242,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Hottot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ottomans, Couple im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.167,00.
